We have sewing crafters creating special woobies for babies across Virginia!

Did you know that transitional objects improve a child's emotional regulation all the way to college?

Did you know that something as simple as a favorite blanket can promote mental health, emotional attachment, and even possibly learning abilities for babies?

When that baby grows into childhood, that blanket transforms into a toga, fort, or cape--becoming the ultimate imaginative toy for cognitive function!

Did you know that 12% of Virginia's babies are born into poverty? Their families must use improvised bedding like towels and adult-sized blankets. This fails to provide a comforting swaddle, increases the risk of SIDS, and reduces the benefits of a beloved Woobie as a transitional object.

We are providing Woobies to families across Virginia through the Doula Association of Virginia!

The Perfect Woobie

*Makes a good swaddle
*Is light and packable
*Washes Well
*Lasts for Years
*Has many uses
*Stimulates imagination

Our Design:

A Flannel Square. Fortified.
41 inches across.

*You cannot find this design available for purchase.

The closest available options are cotton receiving blankets (which don't last for years) or 30 x 30 flannel blankets with serged edges (small and flimsy).

Our woobies go from swaddle to waddle and beyond!
